  9. Turbo Start is a search utility that puts more than 90 of the web's most
  10. popular search engines at your fingertips. It has powerful features like
  11. multiple search, intelligent search, record of past queries. It uses hot
  12. technologies like Java, JavaScript and cookies to make your online life
  13. easier. It loads directly in your browser and hence is really fast. And
  14. best of all - it is totally free!

  17. Installation
  18. ============
  19. 1. Extract the files in the zip archive (turb_400.zip) to a temporary 
  20.    folder (eg. C:\Temp\Turbo).
  21. 2. Run Setup.exe by double-clicking on it.
  22. 3. Setup will install Turbo Start in the folder of your choice.
  23. 4. You may now delete the temporary setup files.

  25. Uninstallation
  26. ==============
  27. 1. Click on Start > Programs > Turbo Start > Uninstall Turbo Start. This
  28.    will start the uninstall program.
  29. 2. If you installed Turbo Start to the default folder, you can click on 
  30.    the button 'Remove' to uninstall it. Otherwise, specify the folder 
  31.    where you installed it and click 'Remove'.

  33. Start using Turbo Start
  34. =======================
  35. Click Start > Programs > Turbo Start > Turbo Start. This will open 
  36. Turbo Start in your internet browser.
  37. We recommend that you use Turbo Start as your start page (the first page
  38. that loads up when your browser starts). To do so, refer to the online 
  39. Help.

  41. Accessing Online Help
  42. =====================
  43. Help can be accessed at anytime within Turbo Start by clicking on 
  44. the Help button in the program (shown by a green '?' mark).
  45. Windows users can also access it by clicking on Start > Programs >
  46. Turbo Start > Turbo Start.

  48. Turbocharge your website
  49. ========================
  50. Turbo Start has been developed using HTML, Java and JavaScript, which means
  51. you can also use it on your website or your corporate intranet. This will 
  52. add value to your site's content and give a useful utility to your visitors.
  53. To do so:
  54. 1. Upload all the Turbo Start files and directories (from the folder where
  55.    you installed Turbo Start) to your web site. Don't upload the file
  56.    setup.exe
  57. 2. Link to the file 'start.html' from your website.
  58.  
  59. Otherwise, if you don't want to upload all the files, you can directly link
  60. to the site http://www.rashminsanghvi.com/turbo/start/ which will always 
  61. have the latest version of Turbo Start online.

  63. Minimum requirements.
  64. =====================
  65. *     an internet browser that supports both Java and JavaScript like
  66.       Netscape Navigator 3 or later or Internet Explorer 4 or later. 
  67.       Please make sure that both Java and JavaScript are enabled in your
  68.       browser's options. 
  69. *     a 32-bit operating system like Windows 95/ Windows NT 4 or later,
  70.       Apple Macintosh, X-Windows, etc. 
  71. *     your own internet account.

  73. Turbo Start is freeware.

  75. You may make copies of, and distribute the software in its unaltered form,
  76. provided all files and the license are kept intact.
